What are the support markets doing?
e.g. US Dow Jones (DJI) / Australian market (ASX)
Are they adding support or taking it away?
"A rising market lifts all boats" and vice versa.
At the end of January 2025, the Sell indicators are predominant!
Buyer beware! Investor beware! Market support is falling!
The DJI Close has crossed down below the 5 day and 15 day Moving Averages .The Australian stock market is often strongly correlated with the DJI Index
But wait, the US Dow Jones DJI has a trick up it's sleeve!
The DJI continued to increase after the double top which is very unusual but is was followed by an even more emphatic triple top indicating strong resistance to further upward momentum.
The DJI Index has also crossed down below the 5 day and 15 day Moving Averages for the second time in 3 weeks. Not a good look.

The S&P/ASX 200 VIX (XVI) calculates the amount of volatility expected in the Australian stock market over the next 30 days. It uses the 30-day implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 Put and Call Options.
